General Requirements:

i. Applicants must demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
ii. Candidates must be ICT-proficient and demonstrate innovation and administrative competence as well as Cooperative Education experience.
iii. Applicants should have a strong understanding of Lagos State Government’s educational policy directions and cooperative sector reforms.

Position Details and Requirements

1. Provost
The Provost will serve as the Chief Academic, Administrative, and Accounting Officer of the College, responsible for day-to-day operations. The role involves executing policies laid out by the Governing Council and providing leadership to achieve the college’s objectives.

  1. A Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in Social and Management Science with at least 15 years of post-qualification teaching or research experience, including five years as Chief Lecturer in a modern education system.
  2. Candidates must have held senior teaching or administrative leadership roles in higher education.
  3. Demonstrated track record in strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance is required.
  4. Applicants should show strong research history, innovation, and resource mobilization capacity, especially in national and international contexts.
  5. Evidence of integrity, discipline, and ability to lead both staff and students effectively is essential.
  6. Candidates must present a strategic plan and provide evidence of local and national community service.

2. Principal Lecturer – Cooperative Economics & Management
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Social and Management Sciences or a related field, with a Ph.D. preferred.

  1. A minimum of ten years of relevant teaching experience in a tertiary institution is required.
  2. Candidates must have experience in curriculum development and research.
  3. Applicants should provide academic publications, conference attendance records, and experience in supervising student projects.
  4. At least six conference or seminar papers and five journal publications are necessary, along with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

3. Registrar
The Registrar acts as the Chief Administrative Officer, reporting to the Provost and serving as Secretary to the College Governing Council and various academic bodies.

  1. A second-class lower honours degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or Arts is required.
  2. A Master’s degree and professional memberships in bodies such as NIM, CIPM, or IPAN offer a competitive edge.
  3. At least ten years of relevant administrative experience, with three years in a tertiary institution, is expected.
  4. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are mandatory.

4. Bursar
The Bursar serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the College and manages its financial operations.

  1. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and full membership of a professional body such as ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or CPA is required.
  2. A minimum of ten years post-qualification experience in an academic or similar institution is essential.
  3. Applicants must be skilled in budgeting, internal audits, financial reporting, and use of ERP platforms.
  4. Familiarity with Lagos State’s treasury and payment systems will be considered an advantage.

5. College Librarian
As a Principal Officer, the Librarian oversees all library operations and services for the institution.

  1. A second-class lower honours degree in Library and Information Science is required, with a Doctorate Degree considered an advantage.
  2. At least 12 years of cognate experience and membership in a professional library body are required.
  3. Candidates must have published at least 8 journal articles, presented 10 conference papers, or contributed to five textbook chapters or authored two full textbooks, with NYSC documentation provided.

6. Information and Systems Analyst
Candidates should have a strong background in computer science or related fields.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science or Information Systems is required.
  2. Professional certifications in systems analysis or IT Infrastructure are desirable.
  3. Experience in enterprise systems, ICT support, and educational technology is essential.
  4. Ability to teach ICT courses is a valued skill.

7. Public Relations / Communication Officer
The officer will be responsible for managing the College’s communication strategy and public relations.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, or related discipline is required.
  2. Minimum of five years post-qualification experience in communication within academia or public service is expected.
  3. Proven ability in media liaison, branding, digital content, and stakeholder communication is necessary.
  4. Professional certification from NIPR or APCON adds to the candidate’s profile.
