The Bayelsa State Post Primary School Board has issued a directive to all newly engaged teachers to collect their official letters of employment. The process begins on Tuesday, with collections scheduled at the board’s headquarters office between 10am and 4pm.
In a signed statement, Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo, Deputy Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Teachers Recruitment Verification/Review Committee, confirmed the arrangement. He said, “All the newly employed teachers by the Bayelsa State Post Primary School Board are hereby requested to pick up their letters of employment from tomorrow. The schedule of collection is based on subject areas as highlighted in the attached document.”
According to the timetable, the first batch expected on Tuesday are teachers recruited for:

- Mathematics
- Marketing
- Agricultural Science
- Guidance and Counseling
- Government
- French
- Economics
- Geography
- Accounting
- Computer Science
On Wednesday, those to report for collection include teachers of:
- Chemistry
- CRS
- Business Studies
- Biology
- Basic Science
- Fine Arts
- History
- Home Economics
- Music
- Physics
- PHE
- Social Studies
The board further clarified that Thursday has been reserved for spill over cases to ensure all teachers are duly attended to.
