Yobe State Approves Employment of 422 Healthcare Workers

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has announced new measures aimed at improving healthcare delivery, job creation, and wealth generation. Speaking after the recent State Executive Council meeting, he said, “Our last state Executive Council meeting focused on infrastructure and human capital development. Specifically, we approved key initiatives to boost job creation, wealth generation, and empowerment in three crucial areas of our lives.”

Buni revealed that the council approved the absorption of 422 healthcare workers, including 110 midwives, 54 Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs), and 258 Community-Based Health Workers. “These dedicated professionals will make a tangible difference in our communities,” he noted.

He expressed confidence that the decisions would enhance citizens’ lives and drive Yobe’s overall development.
