The Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), in collaboration with the State Ministry of Education, has officially announced the examination dates for applicants under the Human Capital Opportunity Prosperity and Equity (HOPE) program.

According to a public statement signed by Richard Nanpon Jonah, gnipr, Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the examination process will begin with a mock test scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

He stated, “Candidates are required to remain in their respective comfort zones, where a link will be sent to them via their respective email addresses for the mock examination, which will commence at 11:00 a.m.”

Applicants must complete the mock test using their Android phones and submit their answers online. The mock test is aimed at helping candidates familiarize themselves with the digital exam format, ensuring better performance during the main exam.

The actual teaching recruitment exam will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Mr. Jonah explained that “Successfully registered applicants are expected to proceed to any of the 18 Local Government examination centers nearest to them for the actual examination, which will start at 11:00 a.m. prompt.”

Applicants are advised not to travel to their local government of origin. Instead, they should attend the examination at the nearest and most convenient center. A key requirement for all candidates is to arrive with fully charged Android phones loaded with mobile data, which will be used during the test.

This announcement is part of the HOPE program’s effort to ensure transparency, accessibility, and digital efficiency in public sector recruitment.
